Is DinoPark suitable for small children?
Absolutely! It is possible that a small child looking at Tyrannosaurus showing its teeth will feel a little scared, but it certainly will not be anything terrible… We have prepared a playground with many attractions and other models expect from carnivores for small children.
Can I visit the DinoPark without a visit of the ZOO?
Unfortunately, that is not possible… the visitors can buy either the ticket to the ZOO or later the ticket to the DinoPark at the gateway, as the case can be even better if they buy both tickets together at favourable price.
Are dogs allowed to the DinoPark?
To DinoPark Kosice yes. Just please remember that your pet will be surrounded here by children, so a leash and a muzzle are necessary. The owner of the dog is under all circumstances responsible for his animal (watching, cleaning after the dog, potential damage). We do not forbid dogs to enter, but we believe in the responsibility of our visitors. To let the dog run free in DinoPark is, however, not allowed at all.
How much money for parking and toilets?
Nothing for toilets. You can use the large parking lot at the main gate into the ZOO – see GPS coordinates in the reference “How to get to the DinoPark”.
Must a school trip with the exact time of entry be ordered in advance?
No, the DinoPark has sufficient capacity; you can just arrive within the opening hours.
Do all the teachers have to pay entrance fee during the school trips?
As for the school field trips, we provide free tickets for an accompaniment (1–2 teachers per class).
How long does a 3D movie in 3D Cinema take and what time is it screened?
3D film lasts about 11 minutes and it is screened continuously throughout the day.
What time is the last chance to come to the ZOO and DinoPark?
DinoPark itself is vast, but the trip through the ZOO takes some time, so it is advisable to plan trips wisely and come to us at least an hour or two before closing.
